As I was reading “Life Force” by Tony Robbins, I began investigating broccoli sprouts.
In fact, broccoli sprouts are up to fifty times more potent than broccoli alone.
Thousands of studies on sulforaphane show that 80 percent of the phytochemical you take in makes its way into your body’s cells.
After a day of research, I was convinced to give it a try. I ordered my first package of broccoli seeds from Zen Greens on Amazon.
My first attempt without proper equipment failed, so I ordered the equipment. With the correct jars and proper care, I started harvesting sprouts for my entire family weekly.
A single jar lasts a family of three about 4–5 days, so I prepare a new jar every 3–4 days to ensure we always have fresh sprouts.
Within a couple of weeks, I figured out ways to produce a better product.
- Take care with love 💓
- Wash at least 3 times a day
- Never put in direct light, but during the day be sure that they see sunlight indirectly
- After washing, be sure you have no water remaining (drain well)
- Spread the seeds and roots in the jar, rotate the jar’s direction during the day
