I have been enjoying Ahmet Inam’s readings of Carl Gustav Jung’s Memories, Dreams, Reflections.

In the book, Carl Jung describes how he gave form to his darker thoughts through drawings, then spent long periods quietly contemplating them.
After reflecting on this idea for some time, I decided not to ignore my fears or run from them. Instead, I began sketching them roughly and feeding those sketches into artificial intelligence to generate images that feel both unsettling and strangely absurd. In doing so, I’m creating a kind of catalogue of my fears while letting the poison within me spill onto the page.
I feel a peculiar relief. It strikes me as an idea worth trying. #fot
