Dr. Eric Thomas is a powerful motivational speaker with a knack for hitting my sore spots.
I’ve been following him for a long time. In one of his videos he suggests that instead of reading hundreds of books and staying put, you take twelve books, pick one sentence at random from each, and put those sentences into practice.
From that I took the idea of twelve sentences for the year. This year I’m trying to live out the sentences that have moved me and make them part of how I live.
They’re not all from books, but they’re all lines I’ve chosen because I believe in them deeply.
